I just could not avoid taking the girls to the park on such a beautiful day.  Even though it was  30 degrees out.  Here are some cute pictures of the little ladies. 

If you look close enough you can see the “I’m freezing cold” snot coming out of Kara’s nose. 

Here is a drawing from Lauren of her favorite rich uncle Sid and family.  She hasn’t stopped talking about the Sullivan family since they were here for Christmas.  She thinks Sid is way cool and wants to go to dinner with him again.  She pretends her and Angela go shopping at the mall together (purse and all), she always wants to watch Marc’s band dvd, and she thinks Seth is cute. 

I’ve been having some technical issues with my internet connection that has kept me from uploading many photos, but I think I’ve got it working consistently now. So tonight, I posted 49 photos from Jayden and Claire’s joint baptism in Eugene right after Thanksgiving.

The Holidays are killing me!!!!!  I am doing really well on WWatchers but Thanksgiving killed me.  But now I’m re-focussed because we are going to AZ for Christmas and I want to look GOOD!  I made 2 goals for myself this week, 1- to work out 4 days this week, and 2- to re-start the Cardio Sculpt class at the YMCA on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Today was my first day in class and you would have thought I was going to the first day of school.  I was so nervous and tried to time my arrival just right, and then stratigically placed myself in the far back of the room so no one would see my cheeks jiggle.  All that build up was pure nonsense.  Once I got there I remembered the instructor and few of her moves.  I still found myself fumbling a few times.  The work out was great and I hope to continue the class for a long time.  There is nothing like having loud dance music to work out to.  Anyways, things are looking good in my long journey to loosing weight.  I have a long way to go!   Keep up the good hard work!

Renee and the girls broke out some of Grandma Lucy’s jewelry, along with Renee’s prom dress and wedding dress, and Rachel and Sara took pictures with my camera. Here are some of the results (all of the photos are available in my “Thanksgiving 2007″ photoset on Flickr, where you can get full size versions).

Chuck got out Uncle George’s coon dog horn last night, and told the story of going hunting with his brother George and his six “famous” coon dogs. I whipped out my audio recorder, captured it, and edited out the coughs to post it here for your listening pleasure.

We’re all down here in Springfield (well, the Eberts and the Bancrofts so far) for Thanksgiving, and Claire and Jayden’s baptism on Saturday.
