And So It Begins….

Welcome to the 2008 Olympics!  We are so thrilled about this!  I have spent too many late nights watching it, but heck, who doesn’t enjoy the emotional bio-stories of all these amazing athletes?  Every free moment is filled with the family checking what events are being shown.  Beach Volleyball ROCKED and swimming is amazing! We are very anxious for the all time fav- Gymnastics!  Oh, and what about syncronized diving, Badmiten, or the other weird events?  Love them all.  Happy watching!  Feel free to call late for a personal one-on-one Olympic annalisis.

I’m a mess too. It’s all that’s going on around here. Clint doesn’t get it, but he doesn’t have the sullivan blood.

It’s almost a good thing that I don’t have a thousand channels to be watching the Games 24/7. But could NBC please NOT wait until 10pm to air the finals! I stayed up way too late last night. The men’s beach volleyball was okay, but I am so disappointed that they don’t play with their shirts off. I wanted some Top Gun action. (volleyball scene). And then I fell asleep on the couch and completely missed Phelp’s last individual race. But I woke up in time to watch the swimming relay that totally rocked. I loved watching the women’s gymnastics, and I just about cried when Alicia Sacramone fell off the beam. By then it was so late so I just went to bed. This morning, I love seeing the photo of the gymnasts smiling while getting the silver! There’s Rachel’s Olympic update!

It is a good thing that I don’t have tv access. I have been staying up to date via the internet though and limit myself to 1 hr a day. It is great because you can hit all of the things you want without the commercials and other trivial stuff.
