Kara at the hospital
Kara and the rest of us got a nasty stomach flu on Thursday. Kara had to go to the hospital after four days of constant vomiting. She was pretty dehydrated and her tummy was traumatized. She was there overnight hooked to a variety of IV fluids. By yesterday morning she was back to her sassy self and after keeping down a few yummy popsicles and cheerios she was sent home.
Talk about an ordeal! Clint and I are sooo exhausted. I got a total of six hours of sleep over the past four days. No Joke. We vowed to never eat or leave the house again. =)
The pediatric unit was maxed out with stomach flu kids…so beware.

Oh my gosh! I’m sorry to hear that. Kids and hospitals should never mix, in my opinion. Glad she’s doing better. And that picture is way cute!

oh my gosh. That just breaks my heart. I’m so glad to hear that you’re all at the end of it. I’m thinking that we need to put ourselves in quarantine to avoid that bug!
